the person scanning eyeballs (from my personal experience) 9/10 times is completely unaware of what worldcoin is and how it works which is why user quality is so low

scans have also been gamed in many ways, data has been leaked and their undergoing legal scrutiny for deceptive onboarding practices and privacy concerns

and of course the narrative of “millions of users” rolls on

i think "worldcoin" was bad but tbh post-rebrand to World it seems more chill
