this should not be a dc from a personal account

i couldnt disagree more and this is far from standard practice

when i receive grants from ecosystem partners they reach out with their verified accounts, not random employees

fwiw, i much prefer dm’s from humans than brand accounts

i default to thinking messages from brand accounts are scams

dm’ing from personal has and always will be normal and common practice for work
