Yesterday we talked on X with @brantly.eth about our point of view on the identity stack. In my opinion, reputation is part of identity stack that brantly.eth discussed at EthCC. I will explain in this thread 🧵 https://x.com/BrantlyMillegan/status/1811464298700611887

brantly.eth, in the EFP presentation at EthCC, talked about web3 identity stack, composed of several parts, and starting with your private key: You are the owner of a digital sig that enables you to prove your assets, interests, roles, define your profile and more 1/5

What is your identity? Who you are in a specific context (in the internet era one person can have multiple digital identities) Now it's defined by social traits and actions (on-chain) that you can control in a truthful way at the same time And what about reputation? 🤔

As identity is contextual, reputation is formed by the sum/average of "who you are" from the subjective opinions of people: Identity 1: you have good reviews on job platforms, so you are a good dev Identity 2: you didn't repay the last 2 loans, so you aren't a good credit payer 3/5
