EIP-7702 aims to give Externally Owned Accounts (EOAs) temporary smart contract wallet capabilities during transactions. Key points: - Allows EOAs to execute smart contract code for a single transaction without permanent changes - Compatible with existing infrastructure; no new opcodes or hard forks needed - Benefits: gasless transactions, enhanced security, improved efficiency - Potential solution to address fragmentation concerns with smart wallets This proposal combines the simplicity of EOAs with advanced features of smart contract wallets, potentially eliminating the need for users to choose between the two.
