what does the black swan event that triggers mass adoption of decentralised social look like?

personal thought is a new application that's only possible on a decentralized substrate takes over the internet, pulls new users in

curious what others think

when decentralized social does a better job of letting humans fundraise for the tasks their governments are supposed to be doing (but are currently failing to perform)

governments not being efficient enough is the biggest pain point in modern life

and decentralized social is the only solution because programmable money can't be built into centralized social

i think, it will be a slow grind not a black swan event. 

as more more apps come online, UX improves and a new generation of users join the internet we will get the adoption

That has been my abstract conclusion as well ser.

centralized catastrophe has been the most powerful force thus far, but it's diffusive

war and a hard push towards government centralization with backtracking might do it
