Question...how many validators / nodes are running Degen Chain? What happens to the DEGEN earned from gas transactions (which is around 30M DEGEN so far) if it's not burnt, will it be vested, who is that going to? I have lots of questions π©βπ»

degenchain is a rollup, decentralisation is not key, but speed and cost of transactions

Decentralization, or some form of it, should always be an end goal.... but even with centralization there can still be transparency.... also where does security come into play in this trilemma? If we're giving up security & decentralization for speed & cost I personally do not see that as a net positive.

at the end degen settles the transactions on Base, and Base on Ethereum, you are not giving up security I may write a post about this, it is an interesting topic

to be fair....could you agree that only running, say 1 validator, would indeed be risking some level of security...or having all of the validator / nodes run by one company would also be risking some level of security....also what about the audits for the bridge & the dex, is there transparency around that? π©βπ»
