What about Farcaster frustrates or confuses you?

- Warplet auto-enabled on launch & set as primary address
- He deposited funds & received Hunt reward for frame building
- Warplet gone with all funds today (after he verified phone), no recovery path

❓:
- How can affected users recover their funds?
- What verif improvements would be effective and fair?
- Should users from unsupported regions get a grace period?

Problems within current system:
- Inconsistent access: Initially granted, later revoked w/out warning
- Auto-selection issues: Warplet made a preferred address without clear user consent
- Poor region verif: Initial system failed to properly identify unsupported regions
- Easy workarounds: Current phone verif can be easily bypassed, and some ppl use that (not what happened here tho)

Personally, i’m from an unsupported region and see FC as my primary (and only) platform where i have presence and build things - my prjs weren't/aren't eligible for wc rewards, and that's ok. Yet there are issues to address to make it fair.

Agree. Here's what we're doing:

1. Offering an escalation path to help resolve incorrect cases

2. Seed phrase export coming soon

3. Better detection up front to prevent people in unsupported regions from getting into a bad state to begin with.
