Thank you! I'm going to read this tomorrow while listening to the piece you sent me :) this is on point, as I've fallen in love with a bit of that his music I've heard, but never read his biography!

definitely an interesting life, and his impact for music can't be understated as he founded a still-running publication for music that did a lot to promote artists :)) 

I'll have to go to the Schumann house some time.
