This year I built: It has truly been a basesome year building on @base Below are what I was able to get done this year: ✓ Hosted onboarding classes on @baseenugu guiding new users on base and got in nearly 250+ builders and gifted 100+ basenames ✓ Started building a Fun and Interactive onchain education platform with @decentraliz ✓ Hosted and spoke on weekly twitter spaces by @baseenugu and various other spaces. This year I built: First of all, we at Base Enugu wish you all a Happy and Basesome New Year! The journey since last year has been remarkable. ✓ What began as a community of just five members has grown into a thriving group of over 250 active builders on Base. ✓ We hosted weekly calls, ✓ onboarding sessions, ✓ and unified resources through the successful merger of @baseunn into Base Enugu. ✓ We’ve also held regular spaces on X to onboard new users and promote the ecosystem. ✓ We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, especially seeing members create amazing projects on Base. This year I built.. 💙 • Nominated for a @worldofwomen Award in the Imaginative Art category • Hosted, curated & moderated a panel for my own IRL art exhibition in Toronto featuring 30+ artists • Spoke on an AI panel at the Oculus World Trade Centre & one panel in Toronto during the Futurist Conference • Invited to host & moderate a panel w/ @toadyhawk.eth at a @base onchain meetup in Ottawa • Exhibited 7 artworks at NFT NYC & 1 at NFT Paris • My own solo art exhibition at @geavision Gallery in Bologna, Italy • Became a Global Creator Community Leader for @base & Based Canada • Hosted & curated an IRL exhibition, panel & on-chain meetup w/ Based Canada team @ali-sharafi @crabmann @maheenblues • Launched 1 of the first creator-led galleries on @coinbasewallet for World Mental Health Day • Featured on the front page of @coinbasewallet 4x & much more. This year I built.. This year work on some amazing Web3 projects but wasn't really aware of the whole thing, but thanks to @stonekiller that was able to explain with detailed. But the one that standout is integrating the @coinbase payment system into a Django E-commerce website. This integration will enable us to accept cryptocurrency payments efficiently and securely, expanding our payment options into the Onchain space. Key highlights of this integration on completion include: ✅ Support for popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others. ✅ Secure, transparent, and real-time payment processing. ✅ A user-friendly interface for seamless transactions. This Year I Built: I took a deep dive into the world of blockchain scalability by studying Layer 1 and Layer 2 rollups. These solutions are reshaping Ethereum's scalability landscape, and I explored how rollups work, the differences between ZK Rollups and Optimistic Rollups, centralized sequencers, and the critical rollup stages that make everything tick. @l2beat became an invaluable tool for tracking rollup projects, and I’m currently immersing myself in Zero Knowledge Rollups, with Optimistic Rollups next on my radar. Each concept brings exciting possibilities for decentralization, efficiency, and mass adoption! Stay tuned—this journey has only just begun. More coming in 2025 🚀

This year, I built 🔵 Got onboarded to Base during the Onchain Summer Buildathon by @sir-damilare and @adeolaadesina 🔵 Created 80+ designs for the Base Africa community for online meetings and IRL meetups. 🔵 Created a Base africa sub-community, 'Base Unilag' and onboarded students with @rasakrypt , @chinelovalerie and @iamsharon. 🔵 Minted 8 works on @zora and 2 Base names - theifeolakunle.base.eth & baseunilag.base.eth 🔵 Spoke as a panelist at @callusfbi Lagos meetup and shares my experience as a based builder. 🔵 Participated in the Onchain Summer Buildathon and Base Around the World Buildathon, and built a product with @lotacrypt - Blocdemia, an onchain learning platform that has onboarded over 30 users. 🔵 Surpassed previous years’ onchain activity, made meaningful connections, joined @onboard Onchain Dreamers Club, and brought my friends onchain by teaching them to contribute and earn. Overall, I had a great year building on base. I hope to do more in 2025! 🥂

This year I built, This year has been a transformative journey, Just four months ago, I was onboarded onto the Onchain (Base) ecosystem, quickly securing my Basename huge thanks to @lotacrypt and @itsthankk. Since then, I've passionately dived into projects aimed at making Base Network accessible to everyone. I created user-friendly videos guides to help onboard newcomers seamlessly into the Base ecosystem. Through detailed Articles and X-Threads, I’ve explored and promoted Onchain projects like Onboard Wallet, Egoblox, Zora, AlfaFrens, Bren, and many more. this year i built 🔵Basik, a telegram bot to help with onboarding normies. It was an amazing experience with it receiving over 150 visitors over 2 months. Got amazing feedback from users which helped refine it accordingly 🔵co-founded @baseunn , a community for students in UNN, alongside @thecyberverse @t0chukwu @chukwukauba @ekeson. We've merged with @baseenugu where we're still doing amazing things with @julex @lotacrypt @victor-of-web3 🔵 contributed to the egoblox bot by creating a proof of concept bot for group wallets, a feature that will enable groups handle their finances and expenses better while still in their telegram groups 🔵 Lumina, an app i built with my team for the just concluded buildathon. An app to help educate people on blockchain and the onchain economy. Had an amazing experience even though we didnt win. FIND LINKS IN THE REPLIES Its been an amazing time onchain. Kids Onchain pfp

This week we built: We got a domain and hosting platform for our upcoming website, which will be launching soon. We also finalized the content structure, mapping out how the site will flow to provide kids with fun, interactive resources that teach blockchain in a simple, relatable way. With 2.8 billion children online globally, it’s essential to offer accessible blockchain education. Our goal is to reach 1 Million kids, empowering them with the skills to explore and create and earn onchain.
