Splitting power is not an effective way to lead an organization. You need a clear decision maker who can lead based on a unified vision. Sharing power leads to indecision and inefficiency The ED should report to the board, so there is no worry about them running amuck.

Haven’t dug deeper on what happened here but this is an argument to launch tokens on L1 then bridge them to L2. The L2 governance can freeze native tokens but bridged tokens can always be withdrawn to the L1. This benefit is not just theoretical.

In school, teachers are the gatekeepers of knowledge. Kids aren’t permitted to learn faster than teachers allow them to. Teach your kids to read as early as possible so they can learn whatever they want as fast as they want Reading is the first step toward just doing things

Blackrock (and Saylor) getting a lot of flack for this the reality is they’re right- there is no GUARANTEE of it blockchains based on social consensus cannot make ironclad “guarantees” on operating parameters i will let someone else talk about security budget…

Eric is a friend, but EIPs are a weird metric to use and sounds uppity. If I was new and looking at the Ethereum community this tweet would come across as gross. To be clear: Eric's last EIP was implemented on mainnet over 3 years ago. The EIPs are still very valuable and shows.

The problem with "DOGE" is NOT that there is not a lot of waste & even fraud in US govt spending. The problem is govt waste & fraud adds to GDP in our system, just like fraudulent subprime mortgage & housing activity added to GDP 2003-07.

In 2017 I thought “yeah crypto is cool and interesting and theoretically there are lots of use cases, smart ppl are saying smart words so I guess I’ll invest” In early 2021 when I learned about defi is when I went “holy shit” and pivoted my entire life to focus on crypto

as price accelerates, at some point we will see some whipsaw in price action and a lot of people will call top after. It happens every cycle. people will get stopped out each direction but that dip, whenever it comes will probably be the best dip before alts turbo send.
