Although the GIF upload-limit is currently only 10mb, it seems GIF's present in higher resolution than photo uploads (which are fairly compressed when not looking at "source.")

I am personally struggling with the photo compression as I'm typically a *high-resolution enthusiast*, but I have high hopes this will change one day on Farcaster!

the image compression quality really needs a boost. I also tested as gif a few days ago, but those pics still looked trash and blurry for me :(

Gif is harder to automatically re-compress, I believe.
