Today - I started working on a Staff piece

I don't really know how I want it to look; but I am playing around with some things to get started

I have a double leather wrapping along the staff

The shape that I am currently going after will either be a Crescent Moon or a Horned approach

I like a Crescent Moon style; but maybe i might attempt both and see which I like more in the end

I have never done anything like this yet and just seeing where inspiration takes me

Near its base I am building out a lower grip and will include a socket for a gemstone or something

Not quite sure yet
