I am very excited about Nockchain, though I still don't understand how it is linked to Urbit

Both Urbit and Nockchain use Nock as a compilation target and Nockchain is going to use Ares, the upcoming Urbit runtime. There may be other, deeper integrations but afaik that’s what’s been released publicly.
