In a recent interview for TIME, Donald Trump said (https://time.com/7280114/donald-trump-2025-interview-transcript/) that: 🟢He won’t call Chinese President Xi Jinping, but Xi Jinping called first; 🟢The administration is actively negotiating a deal with the Chinese; 🟢It will be considered a victory if 50 percent tariffs are in effect in the US in a year; 🟢Everything he does is what he promised during the election.
