You can wipe some soil away and take a peak. If it looks fully grown, pull one and find out. They have a long harvest window so no pressure to nail the perfect timing. You can pick a few as needed and leave the rest.

Some aphids found our fava beans. Went to spray the plants with soapy water and look who I found. Aphid’s natural predator, the ladybug 🐞
