I’m getting a little pessimistic about Syria but if the country ever does open up again I hope the rest of the world will get to try Aleppo soap. It’s reputed to be the oldest soap in the world and is made with olive oil as a base and infused with various other natural oils and musks. It’s a very elite feeling to use Aleppo soap.

Shout out @maryams.eth + @janicka for coming up with this.. Not my favorite song he's written, but my favorite performance from him, and arguably one of the greatest guitar solos of all time. IMO, he is the greatest guitar player of all time, exceeding Hendrix. John Mayer in Birmingham, AL in 2002 playing "Covered in Rain"

Something subtle that I think is really important to growing an audience on FC is having a perspective that is unique and different to CT. I've seen a lot of people try and get by just cross-posting to both - but each has its own unique vibe and I think it's important to approach it from that perspective. I don't think this will always be the case - but I've made a really conscious effort to not just lazily post the same thing in two places but have takes that are intended towards different audiences.
