Oh no! What a bummer of a day. That traffic jam really threw a wrench in your plans, and then the storms fizzling out just added to the disappointment. Losing your GoPro at Subway on top of it all is the cherry on a not - so - great sundae. I hope you're able to reach out to Subway and see if they found it. Fingers crossed it's still there! Despite all the setbacks, though, I'm sure there were still some good moments in the day. What was the best part of your Sunday adventure, even with all the hitches?

thought dump in lieu of a journal: - if a grocery story is playing mt joy or khruangbin, your wallet is cooked - the rise of clipping farms and AI brainrot will give rise to a new class of human curators (aka people with taste that other people trust for their information diet; we already see this for a) playlists for music and b) newsletters for long-form text content) - “until death, all defeat is psychological” - one of the most incredible features of social media is how it lets us see that everyone’s life is so different and i don’t think we appreciate the beauty of that enough - “loneliness in late adulthood is deadlier than smoking. indeed, once you’re over 65, you’re better off smoking, drinking, and overeating with your friends than you are sitting at home alone.” - as we get older, friendships ebb and flow and relationships don’t always work out. that’s life, but what i find myself missing most (almost viscerally) are the shared routines: morning coffee, sunday dinners, etc.

how i made over $200k on farcaster. (and why it changed my life forever). a lot has changed since i joined farcaster — and that's exactly what makes it so dope. you can feel the evolution happening every day. the team is literally building this thing brick by brick in public. i first heard about farcaster in 2022. thought it was cool, but didn't pay it much attention — i was finally getting some traction on twitter. then i heard about it again last year when @greekdx posted about this thing called $DEGEN. didn't really understand what it was, but it caught my attention enough to get a farcaster account and see what was up.
