used this recipe leoncechenal.com/french-croissant-recipe/. i would say it required more patience than skill! watched a NYTimes cooking video after the fact and know it would've been best to watch it beforehand: youtube.com/watch?v=vpwY3nmLLaA. they're a hit! let me know if you try it :)
