You recently posted about PMs being bureaucratic and unnecessary. Do you have any examples from your past that created this impression?

Outside of a super large company, PMs should be:

1. Product Marketing - how do you sell this to users
2. Product Designer - how does this work from a UX standpoint

If you don't have either of those skillsets, then engineer who builds it. :)

And presumably Founder/CEO for “what are we going to build”?

Founders should be product for as long as possible (if not, forever)
