tbh the type of people I'm seeing leaving X and going to bluesky are the exact type of people I'm happier not encountering

Mostly people who post about politics 24/7 and scream at anyone for being to the right of Trotsky

You can control your feeds in bluesky. I have seen A LOT of conversations of a lot of topics I'm interested in that have nothing to do with politics. Development, Games, Starwars. When you find the right feeds it's actually pretty engaging.

That's fair - being honest, I'm extremely cozy with fc being my main social platform rn.

Nice crowd, gud entertainment, not too time consuming or doom-scrolley.

I sorta see X as more of an open square (which usually leads to people berating eachother), but that has its place too tbh 

I mostly just see stuff like threads and Bluesky as just being attempts at imitating X but with the stuff they dislike removed from there. Which is fair and all, but I'm just personally not motivated to sign up to yet another network unless it's doing something very very different (ala fc)
