@livid just made a proof of concept that could make ENS names a lot less useful in favor of Farcaster names.

People can user their Farcaster ID/Fname, set a field in their profile to point to an IPFS/NS location. That data can be used for any number of things in the example below mine is loading my CropTop site (mints on testnet) a type of personal website a bit like Pinterest meets a lite version of wordpress. No ETH gas fees or need to pay for 'other records'.

Super interesting. Could see something like this bring used to extend profile data if devs didn't want to wait for FC protocol changes.
