Why are you buying on CB? Buy USDC on Coinbase, send it to your wallet, then use a dex to swap for ETH / SOL

Gotcha! If you’re not paying fees on CB then it’s not so bad to buy/sell there. The spreads are still subpar but totally hear you on keeping money closer to the bank and not getting it lost in defi or random wallets

I don’t pay fees on Coinbase. Also whenever you swap in and out of those on Coinbase they stake them for you.
Also sometimes I feel like keeping money very close to my bank account and if it gets into defi land then it’s lost for the ages. Haha.

There is a danger zone between the safe harbors of decentralized self staked ETH and coinbase that is just a wasteland of me losing money.
