Imo this election was lost in 2016 Cutting bernie out was the absolute worst mistake they could of made, they compounded this mistake by installing Biden as the canidate in 2020, they doubled down by making Harris the "progressive counter weight" to biden. Results like Missouri voting 40% for kamala and 58% for minimum wage increase and guaranteed sick leave, in Wisconsin double hater voters voted 2-1 for trump, and in Nevada 1.2% voted none of the above. There was absolutely no chance in hell the dnc could of won this with Harris to many mistakes. I expect to see a union party in next 8 years.

- I’m with you on the Bernie part. Wasn’t hard to see at the time and clear as day now. Stifled the most enthusiasm the party had in decades. - I do think some of the data points you’re using from last night are confirmation bias but can’t argue there isn’t at least some truth to it - not sure what viable alternative there was once Biden dropped out. Majority of states already had their primaries and there was very little time to campaign, let alone debate on the campaign - I hope there’s a unity party but can’t help feeling like the entire left of center is up shits creek right now. We are divided and the establishment seems to prefer losing over actually being progressive. Trump is a unique candidate in that he’s unliked, repugnant, and very dumb, but he does somehow find strength in those qualities through his cult. Basically saying a smarter, maybe more center right candidate may be more difficult for a progressive unity party to defeat. Guess anything is better than current Dem strategy

In terms of two 58% of people voted yes on a pretty far left postion minimum wage and and mandatory sick leave while harris got 40, Michigan lost completely on the genoicide protest vote, while Rashida Tlaib won by 21 points, so like i don't know how you can't figure another canidate who took a more progressive campaign wouldn't of put up 320 plus. In terms of the other, lol this is what I've been saying for months and all the liberals were like but you gotta vote for Harris fuck your morals if not your exactly the same as them, lol liberals aren't left. Lmfao every time I brought this up I was told, o but yall aren't a big enough vote to matter, but, but then don't try to shift any blame on us, we all told you this was the outcome
