When you start reading something - and realize it was AI written half way through and you lose all desire to take the rest of the article seriously

There should be a word for that. It's very similar to when you are looking at an image and then somehow realize its an ad, and you just gloss over it

I agree with you, but there are some interesting aspects. For example, social networks push users to post more often than they actually want to (Warpcast ratings literally depend on it) so people just end up delegating that work to AI. Another thing: right now you can still tell when text is AI-generated, but give it a bit more time and that’ll get a lot harder, even though we’ll all know most of it is machine-made. And it’s not going to stop.
