Why is soft serve ice cream so consistently delicious?
Like it's rare it knocks it out of the park but I can't name a soft serve that disappointed 
Hard scoop really blows me away and can really dissatisfy me!

Yeah good ice cream is not always prevalent.  I’d rather go without than have the crappy stuff.

In Montreal they take their ice cream seriously so that’s my standard

Amazing Hard Scoop > All Soft Serve > Bad Hard Scoop

And actually soft serve I don't believe is considered ice cream by US FDA standards; its actually a frozen dessert. The label ice cream is regulated.
