Went to a luxury fruit store yesterday in Roppongi and some grapes were ~300 USD. We bought $50 purple groups and they were notably incredible. Big too, like the size of a ping pong ball.

I worked on a mikan farm in Wakayama for a few weeks. It’s amazing the care and scrutiny they put on the fruit destined for one of these fruit stores. If even the smallest mark was on the fruit (barely visible), it was “warui” and juiced instead of sold as fruit.

I have yet to try elite mikan. The grapes and peaches seem worth it. thank you for your service.
