I just do the same thing and put in in the fridge 😂

AC was not necessary for most German homes at least because our houses have a good insulation (starting to change with rising temperatures).

Salad bars seem genius, but I guess kitchen layouts are different? Not sure why I have never heard of them before.

How??? We have grocery stores everywhere with fresh fruits and vegetables. No need to keep a salad bar. I guess some countries don't have fresh vegetables nearby.

We make it the day we eat it.

I love the idea of a salad bar, but I wouldn't have the space in my flat.
