i think part of the problem is also that protocols are kinda like dev tools, so they can say that their users are devs, but if anyone wants apps on their protocol, then they need users for the devs...

All roads lead back to end users. I guess the way Farcaster builds Warpcast for the protocol is a strategy to hit both audiences.
