An observation - WC & FC Web3 Social Launch: @dwr.eth and @v work steadily through several years of a bear market with little to no fanfare, quietly building what we now experience every day and many take for granted. v. Typical Web3 Social Launch Today: hack it together in a weekend, slap a token on it, attach it to the latest meta, create airdrop virality, see what happens, figure out the details later and hopefully make $$$$ in the meantime. - I get that the latter is the norm for this part of the cycle, but if you have aspirations to build something truly meaningful, maybe follow @dwr.eth âs and @v âs playbook? Just a thought. đ¤

I tell someone almost every day that @dwr.eth and @v are the best example bar none of how to successfully grow a network in crypto, and i'm absolutely floored that more people don't copy them although i guess it's hard and you don't get rich quick so maybe i shouldn't be so surprised looks like it's the good ol stated vs. revealed preference switcheroo

Not so simple to copy them. Requires raising early at high valuation to support team of engineers. Small team and long runway is copy-able and part of the new VC-backed startup playbook IMHO

You can copy the ethos of hypothesis testing, focusing on user retention, keeping a (relatively) lean team, and focusing on high quality users engagement even as a solo founder. I swear to God ur actually doing this so... Ok fine it's not simple but it's possible
