Reminds me of this passage about the "scenius" — the best you can do is try not to kill it. The broader "scenius" in tech feels like it's gone now. It's less fun and goofy, more like an arms race. I'm glad FC and crypto are still fun, but eventually they'll grow up too.

I think people underestimate how difficult it is to get lightning in a bottle. When it’s gone, it’s gone. Enjoy it while it lasts and try to keep it going. The reason I like FC is because it sometimes has similar energy to other groups I was part of before they “grew up”. My goal is to create an org that never has to grow up.
