They skewed towards top-ranking people.  I think they hope to reduce $degen going to farmers.

Gotta respect that they keep changing the distribution mechanism.  We will see if this move is good.

I think there's also the belief that top-ranking people are more likely to hodl, reducing sell pressure and raising the overall value.
Having said that, I agree that change is necessary, since It's a wack-a-mole game when it comes to out maneuvering the farmers.

Top casters usually give more $degen than they receive, at least in past seasons.

I guess the bet is that top casters will get $degen in the right peoples’ hands
