Safe{Wallet} has confirmed that the $1.4bn Bybit hack was carried out by TraderTraitor (UNC4899), a North Korean-linked cybercriminal group. According to the investigation, the attackers hacked into a developer's notebook and hijacked an AWS session token, allowing them to bypass multi-factor authentication.
