nature of these requests in feed is spammy: - most people don’t play and see it - people who play are not sure if they have the resource - by the time people see the post it can no longer be relevant / been filled

if you don't want to see it you can always mute the channel or the user posting too many requests i believe requests in the feed are a good driver to bring new users in but i get what you say, will try to find more balance
