HyggeKaffe will be the first coffee shop and restaurant to accept USDC in /lisbon using Shift, the usdc-native pos i’m building for merchants 

i’ll activate their pos in the next week or two

never did an irl purchase with USDC yet, besides base cafe at EthCC which failed and no one cared enough to check lol

how would it work on the purchasing side? + any privacy implemented?

on the purchase side u scan a qrcode with metamask, coinbase wallet, or the wallet u prefer, and it prompts you to pay

planning to integrate @fluidkey for privacy, but only after a first testing and pilot phase

cool and lastly, did you think about using EURC? 

otherwise may need to do the conversion every time

i think about it ofc and want to support it, just in the beginning i’ll use usdc to keep it simple as it’s also more distributed
