I’m reading these books that I’m enjoying right now, fully knowing I’m going to forget the details. 

Then why do I read? I do wonder that myself too at time but then I remember that I enjoy it. It’s the joy.

I think about this too. Ultimately, I came to the conclusion that although I will forget the details, I will internalize the overall message
