3/ It initially caught the attention of our R&D department back in and we decided to test it against the standard EVM.

4/ Our research showed that in addition to language diversity, Stylus can also bring significant gas cost optimizations!

5/ Within our grant, we’ll be working on the extension of cargo stylus with the sole goal of streamlining and improving the Developer Experience of Arbitrum Stylus.

6/ We are super excited to contribute to the Arbitrum developer ecosystem and help bring the EVM+ paradigm to reality!

2/ Arbitrum Stylus introduces the EVM+ paradigm, essentially going beyond the limitations of the EVM by enabling WASM-based smart contracts in Rust, C, and C++.
