Stop whining about security councils when EVERY SINGLE MAJOR alt-L1's main bridge is a multisig bridge to Ethereum. L2 scaling is the ONLY WAY for truly trustless bridging as L2 state roots are on mainnet, meaning a bridge on L1 can verify state proofs to process withdrawals.

Concerned about the capital gravity well on the L1. Concerned that L2s will soon be faster and cheaper than alt L1s. Concerned to see next gen interop coming online. Have to slow down growth for the sake of ETH ETFs. They need time to catch up their allocation while still cheap.

Deploying L2 subnames on ENS just got much easier. L2 subnames have been possible for a while, but the process was fairly complex. Now with Durin, developers will be able to simply deploy subnames to L2.
