The canon was originally named Kwanon, which was a symbol of Buddhism in Japan. For this reason, the first design of the Canon logo was an image of the goddess of mercy, which was officially used and introduced by this company in 1935. The red color used in this logo is a symbol of responsibility, hard work and energy.
