When I want to swap on @uniswap, for example MEMECOIN/ETH, there’s a double approval. For the first one, I manually set the amount of MEMECOIN I actually own. However, the second approval automatically approves the token’s total supply, even though I specified the exact amount I own during the first approval, just before the final swap. It doesn’t have any real impact, but I don’t understand why we’re required to approve the total supply of the token. If someone can explain, I’d appreciate it.
