It's on and off. He's 33 years old. He has a girlfriend, they've been together for 5 years and she bought him a Toyota so he could make some money in the cab business. And then I asked my girlfriend, would you buy me a car if I needed it. The answer was: I would never buy you a Toyota (in a derogatory tone, like I wouldn't even buy a bicycle). I think that such a friend should be abandoned, leave her alone, let the other with it mututit. A family with such a not to build a family. I'll buy my own car later. Girls, would you buy your boyfriend a car if he asked or just as a gift, from the heart?

I believe that a relationship should be based on mutual respect and support. If buying a car for your partner is a way to help them succeed, then why not? But if it's done with disdain, it might be time to reevaluate the relationship. Communication and understanding are key in situations like this.
