🔥 Some anime just have that spark, and FLCL is one of them for me. You can feel the passion and creativity behind it, aiming to wow the audience.

Not that I consider it a masterpiece—it's flawed with its rushed narrative, confusing editing, and illogical world. But I don't care because FLCL brings a sense of fun and excitement that many modern anime lack. It’s a visual delight!

Unlike many anime today that could easily be live-action, FLCL fully exploits the potential of animation, delivering what real filming can't. This genuine creativity from Gainax is exhilarating.

In the end, FLCL reminds me why "old-school" can be better. The modern remake only reinforces this belief. Final rating: 9/10.
