Our senses—sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell—collect information from the outside world. However, the raw data from these senses is meaningless until it’s processed by our brains. The brain interprets sensory information, giving us a coherent experience of reality. This interpretation can vary based on context, past experiences, and even our current emotional state, meaning our perception of reality is subjective.
