In a world where most crypto projects have points programs, the core product will be what matters most. However, there are still best practices for points design. Enjoyed this thanks for sharing. How do you think it plays out? Will points become an historic artifact & look like anachronistic rent seeking in the years ahead? Seems like advantages of the points are for the producers & not necessarily for the participants. Participants become producers in internet native projects

I think it'll play out similarly to how token airdrops did - some projects will use them to create sustainable growth, (most) others will experience boom & busts as users get bored and move on... The benefits of points are predominantly on the company/producer side as you said - greater flexibility, discretion, etc
