Question: have you observed any patterns where web3 social apps built a core audience and retain them using web3 native mechanisms?

Unlonely livestreaming with VIBES token for audience participation comes to mind

Basepaint with their retention loop of contribute -> mint -> earn

I think it does intra-stream, but probably not between streams (at least for now) - I think the utility could be tweaked for it to be more of a retention feature

Big fan of LoL. Does $VIBES design pull users back to Unlonely?

Basepaint is a great example - feels like it builds on the common belief that the NFTs will be valuable in the long term. Reminds me a little about Bitcoin, but powered by humans instead of hashing.
