"There’s a meme about the Linux and Android curse, where openness leads to too many versions that don’t work well together. I think Ethereum should fight this and aim to be as decentralized and open as Linux and Android, but with a user experience as consistent as Apple. Our goal should be to achieve both as much as possible.

Our community has an advantage: we coordinate and communicate. We hold interop events, and client teams work together. We've successfully implemented complex protocol upgrades for almost a decade, including the seamless merge from proof of work to proof of stake.

We can go further, extending this collaboration to cross-chain standardization, making Ethereum feel unified to users while allowing teams to innovate. This is already happening in the wallet and Layer 2 ecosystems, with projects like Arbitrum introducing features like Stylus.

Scalability, privacy, and security will be key to our success."
