there is an age where, if well aged, you cease to live & only exist

past 5yrs i’ve been face to face w that every day. and it is not romantic, nor alleviating, or even solvable (no matter the money spent or time attended)

instead it’s a slow march into mortality where you hold the hand of a loved one as they regress, calcify, and become violent &/or belligerent 

the same way there are two lives (“the second when internalizing there is only one”), there are two deaths, and the gap between them is a comprehensively ‘humiliating’ voyage

"part of life" is as good (and true) a frame there is to face these things

also, if you can face such things, everything can actually seem like sunshine and rainbows by contrast. so another powerful frame is it's an opportunity cultivate strength.
