it's actually sad to see how many of the top tipped people each season are clearly abusing tipping, some of them barely cast and get tipped huge amounts by the same accounts daily, hope this can be looked into in the future 🎩

the degen allowance wasn’t specifically awarded to anyone but instead started with the initial commitment of locked Degen. How someone chooses to use their daily allowance whether tipping creators, hosting giveaways, or running a lottery is entirely up to them. I personally don’t see this as “abuse.”

I’m saying this because @edit doesn’t make so much casts , we tip him everyday to have a fair shot at a 10k degen lottery. I don’t feel like this is unfair. The word “abuse” maybe creates a sense of entitlement regarding how degen itself should be tipped and who we tip it to.

sorry I actually meant there are accounts who barely cast and get tipped by the same single account each day, which I assume is a different account they have made to tip themselves with. To me, that is abusing tipping.

Ohh I see your point, and I agree , using multiple accounts to tip oneself does feel like an abuse of the system. Tipping should ideally support genuine engagement and contributions to the community.
