i've been getting questions about my first attempt at a rewards campaign, so i wanted to address them publicly: q: in an era of phishing attempts, why make users connect their wallet to claim a reward instead of airdropping it directly to their wallet?** my answer is pretty simple: 1. i want people to become familiar with my leaderboard as a trusted place to view their ranks. 2. if i airdrop the reward, there's a good chance you might not even notice it in your wallet. claiming it requires active participation, ensuring you're engaged rather than passive. im hoping to build your trust as my XP and rewards program evolves.

I think connecting their wallet to claim a reward is not the issue but for those who've lost their wallet due to phishing and had to use a new wallet will have to start from scratch like @push-'s 4 years of onchain activities which could've earned him more XP for more rewards are not able to transfer his "onchain credential" to the new wallet.

I agree and it’s a fair point. Tho I think this is part of building trust with me and the mint pod brand over time. Me working with vetted partners, and products that I battle tested myself before offering them to my audience.
