Interesting to see that most, if not all of them, are artists from the 2000s and beyond. I guess GenX and boomers dont have Spotify subscriptions? XD

also partly the artists driving streaming consumption for their own economic and distro benefits. many of these artists were popping off right as streaming became a thing. They were riding a fame wave right as the streaming tsunami began. Bringing their fans to the new waters... sheesh not sure why I'm trying to keep this metaphor flowing smh haha
