Keep a bin in the kitchen, compost all raw food scraps, plant clippings, coffee grinds 1x week move these to outdoor compost bin (a garbage can with holes in it) & toss the compost Make sure outdoor compost is supplemented with stuff from the yard as well Every 6 months we dump it on plants and use as fertilizer
